The Leeuwarden station area, the bond with your brother or sister, your niece’s teeth: everything changes. You cut your hair, you bake spacecake and you can’t find the Albert Heijn around the corner anymore.

This location production was made with texts by five of our young writers. Up-and-coming artists who bring a new voice to the Frisian writing landscape. They show that language is developing, ironing out the wrinkles in literature. That is exactly why Meeuw Jonge Theatermakers and Explore the North felt it necessary to set up a writing course for young people. And with this performance they make themselves heard!

Come see how their texts turned out to be fantastic material for a slightly absurd, cheerful performance about young people with nostalgia for the past.
For this occasion, we are further converting the Westerkerk into a location in disrepair, where melancholy for times gone by is rampant.

Sunday writers’ brunch

Participate in the Sunday Writing Brunch on Sunday March 17 and follow a mini-workshop by writer Wessel de Vries! Take up the pen yourself and write based on the same assignments as the writers of the performance. Enjoy a delicious Sunday brunch between the ink stains and lines. Experience and talent are not required at all. All the more fun and curiosity!
