Je kind lijkt stommer op een brommer

Welcome to the world of childish fathers, teenagers in a midlife crisis and mothers living a second childhood. Get to know children who know better than their parents who seem to have lost their way. With two generations passionately racing between the past, now and later. Between high expectations and deep disappointments. Between being young and becoming an adult.

Seven young people play together with their father or mother in a theater performance that zooms in on the most ordinary and special relationship that everyone knows: that between parents and children.

This production is made possible by Gemeente Leeuwarden and the Provinsje Fryslân, Leeuwarder Ondernemers Fonds, Boelstra Olivier foundation and Het Nieuwe Stads Weeshuis.

Beautiful mirror parent and child

The Friesch Dagblad was also present at our performance. “The enormous variety makes it pleasant to relax at Meeuw and the expression life is a bitch is entertainingly confirmed.”

Considered and weighed

“What talent among these young actors and their parents. The latter will probably return to their desks and offices after this tour, but things are different for the group of young actors. The world is at their feet. Everything is still possible. What a luck”.

The Leeuwarder Courant was at the premiere and gave our performance ****!
